Matsko Margarita Kazakhstan and Moradi Sajad from Iran comes in first in 800m at Kunshan

Matsko Margarita from Kazakhstan, who did 2min 01.63sec in 800m race on 22/05 in Jiaxing did an excellent time of 2hr 00.89sec and came first in the women race in Kunshan on 26/05/2011. Anna Sidorova from UBZ did 2min 02.89sec. Li Yong from China came in with a time of 2min 12.38sec.

Moradi Sajad who earlier did 1min 50.47sec in Jiaxing came in first again with a time of 1min 47.95sec in Kunshan. Gamanda Ram from India did 1min 48.17sec and came in second for the 800m race. Yang Xiaofei of China came in third with a time of 1min 48.37sec. Joseph Sajeesh Joseph did 2min 48.82sec and came in fourth.

Rameshon has taught in Hwa Chong Institution, plus several schools, and Republic Polytechnic as well. He has won many accolades and he was awarded Merit Award for 1991 marathon performance in breaking the national record of Singapore, at that time. He has made 22 male athletes do a marathon in sub-3hrs. He has made 7 female runners do sub-4 hours for the marathon, as well. He was inducted to the ‘Roll of Honour’  by the then College of Physical Education, organised by Singapore Olympic Academy, in 1998, for breaking the National record repeatedly 4 times, till he did 2hr 24min 22sec).

He also has a Coaching group and he trains them on Tuesdays and Thursdays, 7pm at Botanic Gardens. Those interested can call him at 91004369 for coaching assistance, to improve performance.
