Olympic Medal Count - US shows again that it is the most powerful country in the Olympics

The 2012 London Olympics is coming to an end Sunday, Aug 12. People all over the world are anxious to know about the country that had won the most gold medal.

It seems that Team USA has increased the overall medal and gold medal totals, proving itself as the most dominant country in a number of Olympics, despite losing China in the 2012 Beijing Olympics. Still China was great with 87 medal and 38 of them gold. What was also very amazing is that Great Britain was able to go to fourth poistion in the most medal won country. In terms of gold medals won, Great Britain was third.
