15 Olympic Champions confirmed for Zürich - Samsung Diamond League

Zürich, Switzerland - Tickets for this race is sold out. About 42 Olympic medallists are about to compete in the coming 2012 Samsung Diamond League series.25,000 fans in Zurich will be viewing a quality field of the best of 17 events on 30 August 2012.  The tentative start lists announce as many as 15 Olympic gold medallists, and even one double Olympic champion, Usain Bolt. The following are the athletes taking part in the event.

Olympic Champions at Weltklasse Zürich 2012 (as at 15 August 2012):

David Rudisha (KEN; 800m)
Félix Sánchez (DOM; 400m h)
Renaud Lavillenie (FRA; pole vault)
Christian Taylor (USA; triple jump)
Ivan Ukhov (RUS; high jump)

Shelly-Ann Fraser-Pryce (JAM; 100m)
Allyson Felix (USA; 200m; will run the 100m race in Zurich)

Rameshon has taught in Hwa Chong Institution, plus several schools, and Republic Polytechnic as well. He has won many accolades and he was awarded Merit Award for 1991 marathon performance in breaking the national record of Singapore, at that time. He has made 22 male athletes do a marathon in sub-3hrs. He has made 7 female runners do sub-4 hours for the marathon, as well. He was inducted to the ‘Roll of Honour’  by the then College of Physical Education, organised by Singapore Olympic Academy, in 1998, for breaking the National record repeatedly 4 times, till he did 2hr 24min 22sec).

He also has a Coaching group and he trains them on Tuesdays and Thursdays, 7pm at Botanic Gardens. Those interested can call him at 91004369 for coaching assistance, to improve performance.
