Sandrasegaran - Exercise as a lifetime pursuit.

Picture 1-  Sandrasegaran - Force of habit has made him active until now.
Having interviewed Sandrasegaran, I also took note of many, who at 40 plus, want to give up running because of many circumstances. Circumventing the problems and obstacles and continuing running is one form of 'Art of Living'. This is what I believe. In the long run, one should run for health and not so much of competition. These are people who brave the very difficult situations of life boldly and finally end up as victor and reap the benefits in the long run, especially when they turn old.

Having seen these type of people is an inspiration to those who say that they do not have the time. Research has shown in many countries, in the east and the west, that from young to old, the very active will end up active, active will become less active, less active will become inactive over time. Finally, the truth of all studies shows that an inactive will finally end up inactive.

I hope that those young inactive people who read this could stop imagining that they will run when they have a career, educational pursuits fulfilled and are finally married. The force of habit of the past will pre-determine their fate of whether they will exercising or not in the future.

My genuine purpose is that I hope that people continue to exercise as a lifetime thing and save the money that will go to the doctor after 40 years of age due to the diseases we get from the effect of not exercising. One would squander the money for health at that time. I hope that inactive people will think about this wisely and exercise.

My mother's friend has already spent a minimum sum of $50,000 of money for an operation which has to do with lifestyle.

Having said that,  let us look at the achievements of Sandrasegaran when he was still competing as aa veteran.
