Vegan - Good to explore vegan food for vitality and performance

Picture 1- Picture was taken in Loving Hut at Joo Chiat

A plant-based product is definitely good as one will have definitely a greater vitality through it. With vitality, one will not fall sick easily or succumb to diseases and this is reflected through performance improvement in sports also. The only problem as I can see it is that the vegans are not ambitious to win. The question of whether a vegan/vegetarian diet is good for performance is still in many people's mind.

If people are convinced that a vegan/vegetarian diet is excellent for performance, they will definitely take a vegan/vegetarian diet. Until, as a vegan, we are able to show that plant-based food is superior to the non-vegetarian food, it is hard to convince people, surrounding us, on the efficacy of the food for performance.

I would like to share this Facebook message by a developing runner and a vegan by the name of Kenny. He has been training with Flexifitness and he has dropped his time from no timing taken in the past to 19min 40sec in just two months. In another two weeks, he has done an 18min 38sec.

I believe that there is more room for improvement as it takes about 6 months, at least, to improve one's maximum oxygen uptake if one is taking serious running.

Today, Kenny wrote to me in Facebook on being a vegan and his experience. I believe that he would like to share something that I would like to share with people. I believe that by being kinder to animals, we will not lose out in running but definitely run much faster. I have mentioned his message for one to read this.

Kenny Lee "You are right. A vegan diet makes you stronger, more energetic and puts our minds at peace. Most importantly, the environment and all its non-human inhabitants are a little better because of it. Going vegan is definitely the best gift we can give to ourselves and everyone around us".
