Coming Back from Gold Coast Marathon

I realised that Lindy Yap has done a season-best time for the run and Sheryl did 1hr 40min for the Gold Coast half- marathon race.

Yesterday, Ashley and I met Dr Ben Tan and his wife plus Lim Mui Khim (International Director of South East Asia - Tourism Queensland) and  Ansley Ng (Senior reporter) from Media Corp (Today Paper). We spent the night discussing about Gold Coast Marathon organisation. We all felt that the marathon was organised very well. Later, at around 7pm, we decided to leave the place as it was getting late. We took some photos together. We were discussing on how athletes have been improving in running, recently.

The next day, Ashley and I woke up at 4am to catch a pre-paid shuttle service bus to go to Gold Coast Airport to catch a domestic flight to Melbourne. We left Silvershore Apartment at sharp 4:45am for Gold Coast Airport. We reached the airport on time and had about 1hr to spare to take our breakfast and start our journey back to Singapore.

Once reaching Melbourne, we realised that Mok Ying Ren and his friends were also on the plane as well. We waved at each other at the board the plane, going to Singapore. It took us nearly 6pm to reach Changi International Airport.

We realised that Mok and his friends were there on Friday. Later on, we met outside again. We waved goodbye.
