Today, I ran in the Olive Run 5im Charity Run 2012. When I reached the start, I realised that I had only 8 min to warm-up. The reason for the late arrival was because I left the number tag in school. It took me some time to collect the number tag.

I finished 2nd while Ku Seow Wee came in 1st. Ku did around 17m 33sec while I did 19min 26sec. Steven Quek did 19min 27sec and the fourth position went to Anthony Lim.

It was my second race of the season, not having enough training for this race.

I found the 5km distance was about 300m short. There were 2 people who used GPS and they also said likewise. Even the 10kim was a little short of the accurate distance.

In Men Open the first prize went to Devadas Sathinathan while the men closed champion was Ang Chee Yong.

In Women Open, the winner was Renuka Sathianathan for 10km.

These are the result of Men above 40plus for 5km run.
