Singapore Standard Chartered Marathon 2010

In the past, we had 50000 people registering for the Standard Chartered Marathon race in Singapore. Moreover, the number of marathon runners participants were 5000-6000 as compared to other events, like half-marathons, 10km men and women open and relay races. For this year, out of 60000 people who registered about 19,000 participants registered for the marathon race. There is, therefore, an improvement as compared to the past.

Many of those I interviewed told me that the course has some turns and also the hill to negotiate at the 37km mark.
