Wong Ken Mun - Aiming for a sub 3hr 10min for the coming Standard Chartered Marathon 2011

1 33min 20sec Paul Kimani
2 37min 58sec Jian Yong
3 43min 58sec Meisei Takemoto
4 44min 15sec Toru shinoda
5 45min 05sec Sky Khoo
6 45min 30sec Gagan Malik
7 45min 36sec Tai Eng Lim
8 45min 59sec Greeme Reid
9 46min 52sec Giovanni Oliva
10 46min 00sec Gongping Liu

In Facebook, Wong Ken Mun mentioned that he should have run in the Men Open Category. If he had run under the men open category, he would have come in third for the Civil Service Cross-country Race. Wong did 39min 02sec for 10km. In the race, Paul Kimani, a Kenyan runner, came in first for the 10km race.

In the race, Wong Ken Mun told me that the officials could have allowed the runners to concentrate on pacing by putting up the markers properly. Wong told me that the last km he ran 5min and he finds this preposterous.

He asked me for my feedback on the race. I told him that he is hitting a good time that may allow him to do a sub - 3hrs for the Singapore Standard Chartered Marathon 2011.
