Singapore Half-Marathon 2011
Today, my friend Ashok, his daughter Shivika and I went down to help Mr Chan Meng Hui to help in giving books to the top 25 female and 25 male runners of the Singapore Half-Marathon. Because of the rain, there was a delay in the race start time. We reached there between 7:10am and 7:20am.

Mr Chan Meng Hui, 81, introduced us to some volunteers at the book counter. We decided to help in distributing the books. Mr Chan told Shivika to distribute a letter which states that they can get a free book of 'Run Your Life" by Mr Chan Meng Hui.

As soon as the runners came I took some photos of the top runners. I took a photo with Run'er, formerly a Hwa Chong Institution teacher. She looked very fresh after a race. We decided to take a photo together. Mr Chan looked cool in his jacket when he took a snap with us.

We also took some photos of the top 3 men runners and the top 2 women runners with another snap with the top veteran women runner and veteran male runner.
