Note: This topic on how to run faster is to help one to achieve one's goal earlier. Next topic will be on Ashley's experience of staying injury-free.

Do we need to see a chiropractor?

I went to see a chiropractor in the past when I had problems with my knee. My knees were aligned back. Moreover, my posture became correct and better.

As for Ashley, in the past, I used to see him having a number of problems in getting injuries during his training season. Over time, he went to see Dr Kelvin Ng from Family Health Chiropractic Clinic Singapore. To my amazement, I asked Ashley about 6 months back, on what was the reason for him not to get injured. He told me that a reason for him not to get injured is by seeing Dr Kelvin Ng, who can fix things such that he does not get himself injured. By doing this Ashley not having any more problems. It gave continuity to his running and had helped Ashley, later on, to do a 16min 05sec for the 5km time trial that we did a few days back. It was his new personal best, after achieving a 10km personal best time in POSB Run 2012, with a time of 34min 09sec.

Hence, I feel that seeing a chiropractor will help one to run faster since we have this form of service nowadays. At the same, it would be good to hear from Ashley experience on how he keeps himself training continuously and from Dr Kelvin Ng on how a chiropractor can help one to do well in running, in order to achieve one's goal.
