SEA Games Middle and Long Distance Women Results.

In the 800m and 1500m race the same set of runners by the name of Truong Thanh Hang (Viet), Do Thi Thao (Viet) and Olivia Sadi (Indo) came in 1st, 2nd and 3rd for the respective races. As for the other races, 3000m steeplechase race, 5000m, 10000m and marathon, again the Indonesians were tops for these races. The 'power-puff' women of the day were Triyaningsih who scored a hattrick for the 5000m, 10000m and marathon races. This feat is one of the rarest in SEA Games. Three golds were won by her. Indonesia will be proud of her.

As for Singapore women, in the marathon, Anne Date had to stop the race somewhere at the 39km for she suffered heat exhaustion. Renuka came in 5th in the 5000m race with a time of 38min 50sec.
