Mo Farah - 1st British to win 10km and Mo Farah makes Olympic history

Mo Farah makes history as first British man to win Olympic 10000m - Mo Farah waited until the very last lap to take the lead

Picture 1 - Late burst made Mo Farah to be the last one to laugh by coming in as the champion

It is known that England has not won any gold in any single 10000m race in Olympics for hundred years, even though they have produced many champions in other events, like the 800m and 1500m. Only Emil Voigt won a gold medal in 1908 in London for a five-mile race, an event now not in the list of the races now. Mo Farah will be the man to remember for Britain as penetrating into the longer events as it has always been the Kenyans or Ethiopians winning this event.
